Our Programs

Established in 2017, Laredo Immigrant Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit led by directly impacted individuals working alongside immigrant and low-income families in Laredo and Webb County. Through education, advocacy, and organizing, we are building a stronger, more connected community.

Our programs are rooted in the needs and experiences of our community. We provide free community education workshops, connect families to trusted legal resources, and offer support that helps people navigate complex systems with confidence.

Through these efforts, we aim to create spaces where community members can access resources, learn from one another, and feel supported. At the same time, our programs create opportunities to come together, build relationships, and strengthen the collective power needed to advocate for lasting change.

Empowerment

Community Education and Outreach

Laredo Immigrant Alliance offers interactive workshops designed to support and uplift immigrant and low-income community members. Through these sessions, participants build knowledge, preparedness tools, and wellness practices that strengthen safety, stability, and opportunity.

Our workshops support individuals and families navigating complex systems and immigration challenges, with a focus on civil rights and family preparedness. We also partner with trusted organizations to address issues that matter most to our community.

Led by trained facilitators, these spaces are rooted in learning, connection, and shared support. Participants leave with practical tools, trusted resources, and the confidence to navigate their circumstances and support one another.

If you are interested in hosting a workshop for your organization, family, or community, we invite you to reach out info@laredoimmigrantalliance.org.
